Greetings & Salutations,

My name is Jennifer Chandler and I would like to take this moment to welcome you to the Northern Nevada Multi-Housing Association and tell you a little about the association and myself. The NNMHA is a fabulous nonprofit association developed in 2008 where you can obtain information on Northern Nevada's businesses, properties, the multi-housing industry, legislation and much more. Are you looking for referrals, procedures, workshops, trade shows, advertising, information or education? Then this is the association for you. You don't have to own or manage properties to be a member. There is something for everyone.

I started my education in the multi-housing industry in 1995. I worked as a property manager in Reno, NV and decided I wanted to do more for the industry. I traveled to New Hampshire where I worked in the state prison in the department of corrections for parole and probation gaining experience and knowledge in criminal and civil law. I started law school at the same time and my expected graduation date is October of 2011 with a degree in law. I am the owner, president and CEO of Nevada Court Services, LLC. as well as the President of the NNMHA. In March of 2008, I recieved 2 awards from the American Biographical Institute. The 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award for continued performance and great achievements in civil service and the 2008 Woman of The Year In Business for outstanding contributions to business. I also received the 2008 International Peace Prize for outstanding personal achievements to the good of society as a whole and a Chief Certificate of Commendation from Chief Poehlman of the Reno Police Department for outstanding effort in assisting to establish the Reno Crime Free Multi-Housing Program resulting in decreased crime and police calls as well as improving the security and quality of life for residents. I am registering in December of 2010 with the State of Nevada as a non-paid lobbiest for legislation. I am married with three children and my oldest child is autistic. I believe in level playing fields in the multi-housing industry, health care, education, business and general living. Many ask, "Why are you going to be non-paid for your lobbying?". I don't believe in being paid to fight for what is right. Everyone deserves equal treatment and equal rights. Not to mention, I have enough to do. I don't need another job. I do what I do because I enjoy it and I have a fire for it. I enjoy helping others and giving back to the community.

President of the NNMHA - Jennifer A. Chandler
